Bill does NOT provide couples therapy or marital counseling at this time.
I am a licensed marriage & family therapist with over 30 years of
clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families
in Colorado. I have experience working with clients with a wide range of
emotional and behavioral issues, including trauma, mood disorders, grief
and loss, relationship issues, LGBTQ+, life transitions, and much more.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Loretto Heights College, Denver and
a Master of Arts in Marital & Family Therapy/Clinical Art Therapy from
Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Clinical Art Therapy has
allowed me to marry my passion for art with my quest to understand the
human condition, helping many clients find creative new paths to selfawareness
and healing.
My approach to therapy comes from a client-centered orientation,
informed by family systems therapy, psychodynamic theory, and trauma informed
therapy. My goal is to meet clients where they are through
exploring their personal history and the context of the concerns/issues they
bring to therapy. I provide a safe place to speak openly, honestly and
without fear of judgement, supported by deep compassion, an unwavering
belief in the resilience of the human spirit and the ability to change and
grow.
